　　1. Pour 100 milliliters of water into a 500 milliliter container, then evenly sprinkle the gypsum powder sample in the water within 1 minute, let it stand for 30 seconds, quickly stir for 30 seconds, and then pour the gypsum slurry into a copper tube placed on a glass plate with evenly brushed sesame oil on the surface. Slowly lift the copper tube vertically up to 20 millimeters, and let the gypsum slurry spread evenly into a test cake with a diameter of 100-120 millimeters and a thickness of 5 millimeters.

　　2、用5毫米直徑的玻璃棒每隔30秒劃割1次，且每次劃后需用軟布將玻璃棒擦拭干凈。一直到劃痕兩邊的料漿不再合攏時(shí)即為初凝。其初凝時(shí)間通常從石膏粉撒入水中開始算起，直到不再合攏。

　　3、測(cè)定初凝后的試餅上用大拇指每隔10秒按壓1次，當(dāng)按壓到印痕邊緣沒有水分出現(xiàn)即為終凝。其終凝時(shí)間通常由石膏粉撒入水中開始算起，直到邊緣沒有水分結(jié)束。

　　3. Press the test cake with your thumb every 10 seconds after initial setting. When no moisture appears at the edge of the imprint, it is considered final setting.
